What Is Responsible Gaming?
Responsible gaming means playing within limits you set yourself – in terms of time, money, and emotions. weclub believes every player deserves an enjoyable gaming experience without it negatively affecting their daily life, relationships, or finances.
The weclub platform is designed not only for entertainment, but also to keep players in control. We provide a wide range of tools, information, and support to help you make smart gaming decisions at all times. Playing at weclub should feel like entertainment – not a burden.
Weclub's responsible gaming principles are built on three core pillars: Control – you hold the reins, not the game; Awareness – understand the risks before you play; and Balance – manage your time, money, and emotions wisely.
Remember: The goal of playing at weclub is to have fun. If you find that playing is no longer enjoyable or is starting to cause stress, that is your signal to pause and take a break.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
It is important to recognise the early signs before the situation becomes serious. Many people are unaware that their playing habits have already begun to negatively impact their daily lives. Here are some signs to watch out for:
- Feeling the need to play with increasingly larger amounts of money to get the same thrill.
- Feeling restless or irritable when attempting to cut back or stop playing.
- Playing to escape problems, feelings of guilt, anxiety, or depression.
- Lying to family members or loved ones about the amount of time or money spent playing.
- Borrowing money or selling assets to fund gambling.
- Continuing to gamble even after deciding to stop or cut back.
- Neglecting work, family, or social responsibilities because of gambling.
- Chasing losses – gambling again after a loss in hopes of winning back money.
If you identify two or more of the above signs in yourself, we strongly encourage you to use the self-exclusion tool or speak with the weclub support team. You are not alone, and help is always available.
Self-Control Tools Provided by weclub
Weclub provides a complete set of self-control tools accessible directly through your account at any time. These tools are designed to give you full control over your gaming experience:
Deposit Limit
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly maximum deposit amount. Once set, the system will not allow deposits beyond that limit.
Loss Limit
Set a maximum loss limit you are comfortable with over a given period. The platform will alert you when you are approaching that limit.
Play Time Limit
Set how long you want to play each session. When the time limit is reached, the system will remind you to take a break.
All limits you set will take effect immediately. For increase limit, a 72-hour waiting period applies – this is a protective measure we have deliberately put in place to give you time to reconsider. To decrease limit, the change takes effect immediately.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel you need a more serious break beyond just play time limits, weclub offers a self-exclusion option. This means your account will be fully blocked for the period you choose.
While a self-exclusion is active, your account cannot be accessed and no deposits can be made. Promotional emails will also be stopped entirely. Once the period ends, you must actively contact our support team to reactivate your account – it will not reopen automatically.
Permanent self-exclusion (Permanent) means your account will be permanently closed with no possibility of reopening. This is a serious decision, and we encourage you to speak with our support team first before choosing this option.
To activate self-exclusion, log in to your account and go to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming > Self-Exclusion, or contact our support team via live chat.
